Court Transfers Matter to Abuja as Ogunlana Leads Appearance in Suit Instituted by Raminbaite, Kanmi Ajibola, against FG’ s $30 Million Loan, Graces NBA Ado-Ekiti Branch Meeting

Ogunlana Adesina Ademola, Chairman of the Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association (RAMINBA) and presidential aspirant in the forthcoming 2020 national elections of the Nigerian Bar Association leads appearance of counsel to Mr. Kanmi Ajibola , an Ilesa, Osun State-based legal practitioner and member of the Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association (RAMINBA) in his suit instituted against the $30 million loan at the Federal High Court, Osogbo Division.

In a statement issued by Ayo Ademiluyi, the Secretary of the Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association (RAMINBA) and Director of Media, Strategy, Publicity and Communications of #RadicalBar2020 , the matter which came up on the 16th January , 2020 before Honourable Justice Ayo-Emmanuel of the Federal High Court, Osogbo Division had President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Speaker of the House of Representatives, the National Assembly and Attorney General of the Federation as Respondents.

The matter came up for Hearing of Motion Ex-Parte seeking leave of the Court to the Applicant to enforce his right to freedom of information about the details of the $30 million loan.

While the Applicant is represented by Ogunlana Adesina Ademola with Ayo Ademiluyi, the Respondents were not represented in Court. In a bench ruling, Honourable Justice Ayo-Emmanuel ordered that the matter be transfered to the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division for hearing as all the Respondents are all based in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

The Radical Agenda Movement in the Nigerian Bar Association (RAMINBA) is committed to leading a legal and political opposition both in the Courtroom and on the streets against the $30 million loan , which will send generations of Nigerians to debt slavery. RAMINBA will prosecute the legal action to the very end.

In a related development, Mr. Ogunlana graced the Monthly Meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ado-Ekiti Branch held on 16th January, 2020 at the Afe Babalola Bar Centre wherein he reiterated his #RadicalAgenda to the Nigerian Bar Association to lead the Association to battle against the neo-liberal attacks that the ruling elite is already unfurling in 2020, a year which RAMINBA has predicted to be a year of Economic Armeggedon.

His #RadicalAgenda was well received at the meeting as his message for a Bar that prioritises welfare, health and social responsibility gains echo.
