The Nigerian Bar Association, Ado-Ekiti Branch has congratulated Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, OFR on his appointment as Chancellor, Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology Ikere-Ekiti.
In a statement made available by the Publicity Secretary, Adetutu Oluwaseyi, the Branch states that, “we received with gladness the appointment of Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, OFR as the Chancellor of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti”.
Following Governor Kayode Fayemi’s approval, members of the Governing Council are; Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), Chancellor; Chief Afolabi Ojuawo, Pro-Chancellor; and Chairman of Governing Council, Prof Kola Oladunjoye.
Other members include: Mr S. I. Folorunso, Otunba Kunle Ajayi, Mrs Jumoke Adamolekun, Chief (Mrs) Moni Afuye, Dr Segun Aina, and Dr Adelana Adeleye-Olusae.
You will recall that the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti was last year upgraded to a University status by the Government of Ekiti State.
“We most sincerely congratulate Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN as he takes on this new assignment. Learned SAN, you have accomplished the things that most men can only dream of. You are a role model for everyone as you are one of the most excellent examples of success.
In the same vein, we congratulate Chief Afolabi Ojuawo , a member of the Nigerian Bar Association Ado-Ekiti Branch on his appointment as the Pro-Chancellor of the University.
