NBA Epe Branch, MOJ, EU Present Workshop on Plea Bargaining as an Effective Tool in the Administration of Criminal Justice

The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Epe branch, in collaboratlon with the Lagos State Ministry of Justice, MoJ, and the European Union, EU, funded Rule of Law and Anti-corruption, RoLAC programme will hold a workshop On Plea Bargaining as an Effective Tool in the Administration of Criminal Justice.

The event will hold on Thursday, July 25, 2019, 10am prompt at the High Court Of Lagos State, Epe Judicial Division.

Note that all members of the NBA, Epe Branch especially Probono Legal Clinic and PDSS must attend.

Funded by the European Union , the RoLAC Programme seeks to strengthen the application of law and curb corruption. It works at the federal level and in four focal states: Adamawa, Anambra, Kano, and Lagos. 

RoLAC focuses on:

  • reforming the criminal justice system
  • ensuring women, children and people with disabilities have access to justice
  • improving the performance of anti-corruption agencies and how they work together
  • enhancing the voice of Nigerians in curbing corruption.

The programme was launched in 2017.
