The 2019 Lawyers Table Tennis Open (Mfon Usoro Cup) finals holds on Saturday, 9th of November 2019 at the Table Tennis Hall of the Nigerian Table Tennis Federation, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos starting at 11am.
The count down has begun.
The tournament will reward the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners in the male and female categories with financial prizes and other interesting rewards.
The 11th Lawyers Table Tennis Open will have more than 60 Lawyers from Lagos, Kogi, Rivers, Abuja, Oyo, Ogun and Osun compete for the trophy. Apart from the Table Tennis competition, all Lawyers (both spectators and players) will participate in an exciting aerobics exercise which has become a staple since 2017.
The battle of the Titans. It promises to be an interesting clash between the defending Champion, Mr Yahaya Olarewaju, from Lokoja and other top challengers like Tunji Abdulhameed, Kabir Adeleke, Adeyinka Adeyemi who have previously won the tournament as well as new contestants who will prove their mettle by showcasing their strength and talent in the game.
In the female category, more female lawyers have been training with the aim of ending Titilayo’s reign as the Queen of Lawyers Table Tennis Open.
An exciting clash is expected in the women category as Titilayo has been training relentlessly for the event to defend her title.
The preliminaries for the male participants resident in Lagos is scheduled to hold on Saturday 2nd of November 2019 at 9am. The Nigerian Table Tennis Federation will officiate the tournament.
