A young graduate of the faculty of law of the Prestigious University of Benin, Esther Allwell, estherallwell7991@gmail.com, has emerged the Overall Best Graduating Student of the Faculty of Law, University of Benin (UNIBEN), bagging a rare First Class in Law, with a very good CGPA.

In a society that does not celebrate academic excellence, but beauty and entertainment talents, Esther Allwell stands tall among her peers and for which some of us have taken an interest to project her for support and recognition. While the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) winner goes home with a grand prize of 90 Million Naira this year, we call for support and recognition for the Aboh Mbaise of Imo State born genius who brought some pride to us.

We humbly implore all well meaning Nigerians to reach out to Esther Allwell @ estherallwell7991@gmail.com to encourage those coming behind her, to know that there is indeed a reward for academic excellence and hard work. We call on her State Governor-, HE Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State, the UNIBEN Alumni world wide, the Law of Faculty UNIBEN Alumni, public spirited Institutions and individuals to reach out to her for support, recognition and commendations. We need to change the narrative on how we treat those who attain stellar academic performances in this country. We plead with the University of Benin authorities to offer her an automatic employment. This will not be a problem knowing the kind disposition of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin (,UNIBEN) -Prof. Lilian Imuetinyan Salami.

Esther Allwell is an incisive and enthusiastic young professional who has acquired requisite knowledge and experience in law, diplomacy, administration and leadership through work experiences and volunteer activities.

She is a recent graduate of the prestigious University of Benin, where she bagged a “First class” to emerge the “Best Graduating Student” of her set.

Her experience spreads beyond the academic frontiers to meaningful engagements in other spheres of life and society, where she has indeed carved a niche for herself. These include:

  • Ambassador of the National Model United Nations Africa.
  • Legal Intern, Bright Network , United Kingdom (Virtual Internship)
  • 2020 President of the International Law Students Association, University of Benin Chapter.
  • 2019 President of the Junior Chamber International, University of Benin Chapter.
  • Global Youth Ambassador for Their World.
  • Fellow, Own Your Stage Africa Academy
  • Chairperson of Collegiate Affairs for 2021 Junior Chambers International ( JCI) Nigeria National Convention.
  • Chairperson LL.B Awards Committtee
  • Legal Intern, Grace Court Solicitors.

She is indeed a role model among her peers, that should be encouraged and promoted to give some verve to those who choose to excel academically and in leadership, as opposed to the societal misplaced priority of always encouraging those things which are shallow, than encouraging those things which are deep.
