The African Bar Association, AFBA, Nigeria Young Lawyers Forum, YLF, is organising a one-day webinar on: Force Majeure and Contractual obligations in Nigeria: The COVID-19 Effect.
The webinar is intended to address the following areas:
The Concept of Force Majeure and the Implications of Covid-19 on Business and investment Contracts
The effects of Force Majeure on Employment and Workplace Agreements
Impact of COVID-19 on Trade: Domestic and international Trades.
The webinar is billed to hold via Zoom on 9th April, 2020 at 5 pm.
Intending participants are to visit bit.ly/AFBAYLFNGZOOM to register. The Cordinator of the Forum Bibi Obinichi Benneth-Ugo, in her statement on the webinar, stated that its purpose is to ensure that young lawyers gain more knowledge while safely isolating at home.
Mrs. Benneth-Ugo also indicated that the webinar is one of a series to run throughout the period of isolation.
