An Open Letter to Former President Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, GCON

Goodluck Jonathan, GCFR, GCON

His Excellency Sir, it could be recalled that sometime last year, when the ruling party (All Progressive Congress), was trying to bring you into their party, you were given an appointment by United Nations (UN). Sir, we will also recall that after this appointment, we did not see any real activity which this international body engaged in to better Nigeria or Africa.

His Excellency sir, you have been bought a form by some northern groups who are very keen of you running for the office of the Presidency. Today the 11th of May, 2022, your Special Adviser Mr Ikechukwu Eze has reported to us that another international body European Corporate Council on Africa and the Middle East  (ECAM Council) has given you an appointment. Sir, I plead to you as a son who wants the best for his father and country to please sit back and think about accepting this offer, between your fellow compatriots and the international organisation; who has the greater interest of the country at heart?

His Excellency sir, I will be straight with my advice; Please sir, do not abandon your people for an international appointment. So my advice is that you accept this international appointment. However, this office should not in any way deter you from running for the office of the presidency. As this is one of the rare occasion where a total different group which you never spoke to will be picking a hundred million Naira form for someone. This can only be achieved because of impactful, meaningful and good antecedent

His Excellency sir, the only intention of any body (whether international or local)  that doesn’t want you to become our president, is to ruin our precious country.

His Excellency sir, it is my humble request that you run for 2023 election under the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (unless you think otherwise to run on another party platform).

Conclusively, His Excellency sir, I’m of the opinion that your running for the Office is non negotiable.

Yours Faithfully,

H.E. Okusuwha, Esq.
