The Kwara State Judicial Service Commission has issued notice of proposals for the appointment of two Kadis and same number of judges into the state’s judiciary.

Notice Of Proposal For The Appointment Of Two (2) Kadis For The Kwara State Sharia Court Of Appeal
The Kwara State Judicial Service Commission, under the Chairmanship of S. D. Kawu, the Chief Judge of Kwara State hereby gives the general public notice, pursuant to Rule 3 (1) (a) (i) of the 2014 Revised Guidelines For the Appointment of Judicial Officers of ALL SUPERIOR COURTS OF RECORD IN NIGERIA, that the commission shall embark on the exercise to appoint two (2) Kadis for the Kwara State Sharia Court of Appeal and therefore calls for expression of interests from suitably qualified candidates of Kwara State origin.
Requirements
To be eligible for nomination, the candidate must:
(a) Be a legal practitioner in Nigeria who has been so qualified for a period of not less than ten years and has obtained a recognized qualification in Islamic Law from an Institution acceptable to the National
Judicial Council; or
(b) Have attended and obtained recognized
qualification in Islamic Law from an institution
approved by the National Judicial Council and held
the qualification for a period of not less than ten
years; and
(c) Have considerable experience in the practice of
Islamic Law, or be a distinguished scholar of Islamic
Law.
In addition, the candidate must be fluent in Arabic
Language.
Nomination of interested candidates should be

The Kwara State Judicial Service Commission, under the Chairmanship of S. D. Kawu, the Chief Judge of Kwara State hereby gives the general public notice, pursuant to Rule 3 (1)(a)(i) of the 2014 Revised Guidelines For The Appointment of Judicial officers of All Superior courts of Record in Nigeria that the Commission shall embark on the exercise to appoint two (2) judges for the Kwara State High Court of Justice and therefore calls for Expression of Interests from suitably qualified candidates of Kwara State origin.
To be eligible for nomination, candidates must satisfy the Provision of Section 271 (3) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended and Rule 3 (2) of the Revised National Judicial Council Guidelines And Procedural Rules For the Appointment of Judicial officers of All Superior courts of Record in Nigeria.
