Association of Legislative Drafting and Advocacy Practitioners(ALDRAP) Inducts House of Reps. Clerk as Fellow, 60 Others as Members

The Association of Legislative Drafting and Advocacy Practitioners(ALDRAP) held its induction ceremony on Friday, as the Clerk to the House of Representatives, National Assembly, Dr. Yahaya Danzaria was inducted as a Fellow of ALDRAP. Sixty lawyers and law students were also inducted as Members.

Prof. Josephine Agbonika, SAN and the Clerk later performed the ceremony of unveiling the two law books, Mr. Joe-Kyari Gadzama,SAN launched the two books with a sum of N200,000 while approval for purchase of 360 copies of the book for all legislators. Each of the authors, including Mr. Dashe, a law lecturer at the Nigerian Law School spoke about the book. The Deans of the Faculties of Law at Nasarawa State University and Veritas University also launched the book.

As part of the concluding ceremony, the Emir/traditional ruler of Tungan Maje community in Gwagwalada, Federal Capital Territory were in a procession led by the Secretary of the ALDRAP, Dr. Tonye Clinton Jaja to inspect Suite 1.39, the New office of ALDRAP at the House of Representatives wing of the National Assembly.

The next event is the National Legislative Drafting moot court competition for law students from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.
