The Millennials Intellectual Academy founded by Destiny Ogedegbe is hosting the first-ever National Legal Quiz competition for law students in Nigeria. So far, the quiz has received a lot of applause from people in the legal community. Distinguished persons and brands such as Chukwuka Ikwuazom, SAN, Obsidi by BPTN, Dr. Reginald Aziza, Dr. Ayodele Oni, and Mr. Muyiwa Atoyebi, SAN, among others are set to sponsor the competition.
The quiz is said to serve as a medium to assess some soft qualities and test the students’ capacity to understand and remember, apply and analyse, evaluate and create, among others.
The first preliminary stage of the quiz competition with over 1000 participants has commenced on 2nd June 2022, and participants are to be tested on several areas of law such as Company & Corporate Law, Fundamental principles of Contract Law, Tort Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional & Electoral Law, Labour & Employment Law, Tax & Finance Law, Competition Law, Data Protection Law; and Energy Law.
This quiz competition being the first of its kind in Nigeria; so many people are looking forward to the outcome and the winners as well.
