The imbroglio continues as the Senate was earlier today invaded by hoodlums who carted away the mace – a new mace has been made available.
The uncowering apex legislative organ has in a new development, continued plenary with the new mace.
The Senate confirmed earlier that the hoodlums were allegedly led by suspended Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege from Delta State.
Recall that the plenary is being presided over by Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu who is standing in for Senate President, Bukola Saraki. Saraki is in Washington D.C for a spring meeting between the World Bank and International Monetary Fund.
