I heartily congratulate the Chairperson, the Executive Officers and all members of FIDA Ekiti Branch on the success of their Annual FIDA Week 2021 which took place in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, from 5th to 10th October, 2021.
The Theme of the Week – “Equality, Equity and Justice: Revisiting the Effect of Gender Parity on Sustainable Growth and Development In Ekiti State”, is most profound and apt as it addresses lots of our challenges as a Nation. FIDA Ekiti Chapter had in the past one year organized very impactful programmes for her members, one of which is the training of Community Paralegals on the Mitigation of Gender Based Violence in Ekiti State.
Ekiti FIDA has no doubt been very active, committed and consistent in promoting and sustaining the objectives of FIDA Nationwide in the area of championing the cause of protection of Child’s Rights and the fight against domestic and gender based violence.
I use this medium to congratulate and commend the leadership and members of FIDA in Ekiti State for their selfless services to the legal profession and humanity at large and I wish you all more successful and impactful programmes ahead.
