Touched by the growing suffering of the physically challenged who roam the streets of Anambra State without food, an NGO, DO Foundation, Anambra State Chapter, took to the streets of Awka Metropolis on Thursday, 28th January, 2020, to feed and give succour to destitutes, a statement from the organization’s Public Relation Officer O.F. Okeke, Esq., MICMC said on Friday.
DO Foundation is a Non Governmental Organization that promotes justice, security and peace in the society especially amongst the vulnerable.
Speaking during the exercise, the Chairperson of DO Foundation, Anambra Chapter, Ify Okoye, Esq. expressed her joy and thanked God for making the exercise a reality while urging the gathering to always reach out to the Foundation in case of any violation of their rights or molestation.
Okoye thanked those who had in one or the other contributed to the charity works and advocacy of the NGO.
