The Enugu State Lawyers Forum invites Lawyers, especialy those of Enugu State origin, to a valedictory Court Session in honour of Late. Hon Justice Denis Edozie J.S.C.
The event scheduled to hold today, Wednesday, 3rd of October 2018 is organised by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Forum’s Abuja branch, Mr Emeka Silas Agbara — the event is scheduled as follows:
Time: 2pm
Venue: Ceremonial Court Hall of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Abuja.
”Lawyers are expected to be robed to pay a formal last respect to the erudite Learned Justice of the Supreme Court.
“God bless you all.” The statement read.
Mr. Justice Dennis Onyejife Edozie, Commander of the Order of the Niger, CON, died in his country home in Enugu State on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the age of 84 years.
Late Justice Edozie was born on November 10, 1935 in Enugu State and was appointed Justice of the Supreme Court on January 6, 2003.
He served in that capacity till his retirement on November 10, 2005 when he attained the mandatory retirement age of 70 years.
