
The Federal High Court will embark on a short break for the governorship and House of assembly elections from 17th-20th March.
This is contained in a notice to all Honourable judges of Court seen by TheLoyal Nigerian Lawyer reporter.
“Your Lordships are by this Circular granted a short break in order to perform your civic duties, during the Governorship and House of Assembly Elections,” the circular read.
“The break shall be from Friday, 17th March, 2023 to Monday 20th March, 2023. All Hon. Judges shall resume work on Tuesday, 21 March, 2023.
The Administrative Judges in the Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt Judicial Divisions, shall ensure that a Judge is I designated to cater for the North, South-West, South- South/South-East Geo-political Areas respectively, regarding urgent matters during the period.” It concluded.
The circular was signed by the Chief Judge, Hon. Justice John T. Tsoho.
