Ogaga Emoghwanre’s goodwill message to the Ikorodu branch of the NBA on the occasion of their 2022 Annual Law Week themed: “Nation Building: Our Collective Responsibility” reads as follows:
“The distinguished Chairman, Executive and Members of the great Ikorodu branch,
Permit me to use this medium in conveying my highest regards to your dear branch on your ongoing Law Week celebration themed ‘Nation Building: Our Collective Responsibility’.
This auspicious occasion with its well thought out theme has already achieved a milestone in reminding Nigerians and especially us lawyers of our non-delegable role of ensuring that this country we call ours is well built to meet our taste and in line with International best practices.
We can by no means lay claims to a separate geographical stretch other than this, and this is why our nation’s growth or decline rests solely in our hands, hence the need to do better as a people.
Thank you for giving us another opportunity to discuss and brainstorm on this all important responsibility. May your dear branch never run out of lubricant in its wheels of progress.
