It is with great pleasure that I congratulate the executives and members of the Nigerian Bar Association Uyo Branch as she holds her 2022 Bar Week Celebration from Saturday, 26.. March to Friday, 1. April, 2022. I must sincerely commend the initiative of the organizers of this auspicious event for the choice of theme: “THE ADVENT OF IBOM DEEP SEAPORT AND THE PROSPECTS OF MARITIME LAW PRACTICE IN NIGERIA” which I consider apropos.
I have no doubt in my mind that the events lined up will indeed be positively impactful and refreshing for you all. I must say that I find the theme very captivating and I believe it will be beneficial to all to have a buoyant legal practice. I also encourage the young lawyers in our midst to explore this section of law as well as develop themselves in this legal area of practice. I urge my dear colleagues to participate effectively, cross-fertilize ideas whilst addressing issues that affect distinguished members of this great branch by contributing your quota to the promotion and development of the branch, legal practice and Nigeria as a whole.
