
At the just concluded Bauchi State Law Students Association of Nigeria Dinner in Honour of the Executive Governor of the State, Sen. Bala Mohammed for his Support to the Educational Sector in general and Law Students of the state in particular, the National President of Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), Michael Arinze has appealed to the 36 state governors to assist Law Students of their respective States in the pursuit of their career in the legal profession.
In his words, “I wish to appreciate His Excellency the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for his grant to aid indigenous Law school candidates at the Nigerian Law School this year. It is a welcome development which will go a long way to boost the professional career of Law Students of the State whether rich or poor in the light of the present economic situation of the Country”.
He went further to thank few other state governors who have toed that line of assisting their state indigenous Law Students and further appealed to other State governors not only to start the great initiative but also to sustain the legacy as that will enhance the human capital development of the state.
Other persons in attendance at the occasion were the Chief Judge of Bauchi State, the Attorney General of Bauchi State, the NBA Chairman of Bauchi State, the SRC Chairman NLS Abuja Campus and a host of other dignitaries.
