
Nasser Abdu Dangiri, SAN, FCIArb was born on 12th February, 1967, at Wukari, Taraba State of Nigeria.
He attended Nurul Islam Islamiyya Primary School, Wukari from 1970-1972, then moved to Local Education Authority School, Ibi, Taraba State from 1972-1976.
Thereafter, he proceeded to Government Secondary School, Ibi, Taraba State from 1976-1981, where he obtained his General Certificate of Education (GCE).
He did his ‘A’Level at College of Preliminary Studies (CPS) at Yola, now in Adamawa State from 1981-1983 where he got his Interim Matriculation Board (IJMB) certificate.
He was admitted into Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (ABU) in 1983 to read Law, and he graduated in 1986 with LL. B (Hons) degree.
He went to the Nigerian Law School, Lagos in 1986 and passed his bar examination in 1987, after which he was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 22nd of October, 1987.
He did his compulsory National Youth Service in the law firm of A.A. Alawaye & Co from 1987-1988 in lorin, Kwara State where he later practiced extensively as a lawyer.
In 1991, he was employed as company secretary/legal adviser of ASMAMFAI (Nig) Ltd in Kano.
Later in the same year, he joined the law firm of D.D. Dodo & Co as counsel from 1991-1992.
In 1992, he opened the law firm of Nasser Abdu Dangiri & Co., first in Jalingo and later moved it to Kano in 1993 where he continued to practice untll his demise, even though he had a functional branch in Abuja.
Dangiri was active in practice. He was appointed Receiver/Manager of several companies; served in committee of inspectors for the liquidation of NAFCON and Jos Steel Rolling Mills Ltd.
He was an associate of the Nigerian Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
He was conferred with the rank of Senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) on the 18th of September, 2017.
