Isma’il Alasa, Esq. was an amiable advocate who constantly preached peace and unity.
The General Secretary of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria, MULAN, Isma’il Alasa has died on Sunday night.
He died after a protracted health challenge.
Late Alasa will be buried in Auchi, Edo State, by 4pm, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Mr. Alasa, along with other executive committee members, began their tenure on July 30, 2021.
He was passionate about MULAN, a constant advocate for human rights, the rule of law, cohesion and peace.
His attitude to his illness was one of utmost bravery and although he was ill he thought of others, checking on the Association’s well-being, friends, colleagues.
Many colleagues have have said they are honoured to have known him as a good friend, adviser, administrator and lawyer.
May his soul find peace with the Almighty. It’s also our prayer that his family, friends and colleagues are comforted ar this trying time.
