The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, will hold its 2019 Annual General Conference in Lagos from 23rd of August to 30th of August 2019.
This was disclosed at the inaugural meeting of the Technical Committee for Conference Planning, TCCP, chaired by Mr Gbenga Oyebode.
In attendance were the President of the NBA, Mr. Paul Usoro, Paul Ananaba SAN, the Chair of Ikere-Ekiti Branch Oludayo Olorunfemi, Lagos branch, Chukwuka Ikwuazom, Chairmen of Kano branch Musa Abdullahi and Ilorin branch, Mai Akande.
Mrs Mfon Usoro, the NBA General secretary, Jonathan Taidi, welfare secretary Joshua E. Usman and Publicity Secretary Kunle Edun, Anthony Atata, the Chairman of International Bar Association, African Regional forum were present.
Also present at the meeting were Sylvester Udemezue, Mrs. Oyinkansola Badejo Okusanya, Chinyere Obasi, Uche Nwadialor, Nta Ekpiken, Endurance Uhunmuavbi among others.
The committee deliberated on the numerous complaints by lawyers over the years regarding annual conferences, and has resolved to make necessary changes in this year’s event.
The 2019 NBA-AGC promises to be exhilarating.
