NBA Birnin Kebbi Congratulates Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN upon Assuming Office as the 32nd President of NBA, Lauds former NBA President, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN’s Service to the Bar

The Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) Birnin Kebbi Branch has extended its congratulations to the new NBA President, Afam Osigwe, SAN on his assumption of the high office.

The NBA Birnin Kebbi Branch also lauded the immediate past NBA President, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN.

“We extend to you, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, our heartfelt congratulations on your inauguration as our 32nd president of the Nigerian Bar Association. It’s a big honour and an opportunity to carve your name in history,” the Chairman of the NBA Birnin Kebbi Branch, Aminu Hassan said in a statement.

“You are a true example of hard work, commitment, and dreams. We wish you success as you embark on this journey as the president of the largest bar in Africa.

“We are confident that the NBA will continue to thrive under your leadership as we have many glowing evidence of your work in the Association. Your influence will continue to encourage our proud tradition of “Promoting the Rule of Law.” Together we can engender a progressively just and fair society.

“You have all of our support and best wishes as you begin your presidency. We wish you and your team a successful tenure, blessings, happiness, and good health as you serve

 “To the immediate past president of the NBA, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN, your unique perspective, vision, and skills have added so much to our Association. You have clearly imprinted your indelible mark. We’ve all learned from your wisdom and support – not to mention your contagious enthusiasm! We wish you exciting new challenges in this new chapter of your life as well as all the best for a bright future. Your contribution to the legal sector is greatly appreciated! Thank you for your hard work and service.” The statement concluded.
