The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ijebu Ode Branch under the Chairmanship of Bisi Abdul-Azeez, Esq., has commended the Ogun State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Mosunmola A. Dipeolu FICMC over the suspension of 2020 court vacation.

This was disclosed by the branch’s Public Relations Officer, Moruff O. Balogun, Esq. in a statement made available to our correspondent on Friday.

According to the Chairman, the suspension of 2020 court vacation will greatly enhance the expeditious hearing and determination of pending cases in the courts’ dockets.

“Thus, the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic has caused undue delay in the adjudication of matters.” The statement said.

Mr. Abdul-Azeez further stated that the suspension of this year’s vacation is a clear indication that Judges in Ogun State are not only proactive in their official duties, but also very industrious, a fact which is obvious in their readiness to hear and determine cases before them without undue delay.

The Chairman prayed unto Almighty God to continue to bless the Hon. Chief Judge Ogun State, other Judges, Magistrates and other ministers in the temple of justice with sound health and wisdom to be able to discharge their functions effectively.
