The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Sokoto Branch has lost its immediate past Secretary, Dr. S.S. Auta to the cold hands of death.
According to a statement from the Branch Secretary, Rashida Muhammed, after due consultation with the heads of Courts, Monday, 19th September, 2022, was declared a court free day to enable members attend late Dr. Auta’s funeral prayers and to join his family in mourning the departed soul in Gusau, Zamfara State.
Until his death, Dr. Auta was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Usman Danfodiyo, University Sokoto and was in active legal practice.
