At the Environmental Justice and the Ecological Crisis in Nigeria: A Rule of Law Approach plenary of the Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Ikhide Ehighelua will present complimentary copies of his book, Environmental Protection Law to the first 10 delegates to attend the session Tuesday, 27th August, 2019, at the Orchid Hall, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The discussion will be Chaired by Chris Ezem Esq , Secretary to Abia State Government. The speakers are Ikhide Ehighelua , Principal Partner at Ikhide Ehighelua & Co; Dr. Ayo Arowolo, Lecturer at Babcock University, and Nkiruka C. Maduekwe, PhD, Research Fellow at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies.

Environmental justice is the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, national origin, or income, with respect to the development, implementation and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
Promoting environmental justice will protect of the right of every person of present and future generations to live in an environment adequate to his or her health and well-being, and to guarantee the rights of access to information, public participation in decision-making, and access to justice in environmental matters in accordance with the provisions of Constitution.
