
In the light of the euphoria of celebration, Oladotun Hassan, Esq., an aspirant for the position of National Publicity Secretary, Nigerian Bar Association come 2020 has congratulated the new wigs who have been called to bar by the Council of Legal Education, Body of Benchers between 25th to 27th November, 2019 at the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja.
Hassan also congratulates and specially salutes the 147 outstanding First Class graduants as Law School calls 4,458 to Bar out of 5,689 candidtates that sat for the August, 2019 Bar Finals Examination.
Mr. Hassan commended Professor Isa Ciroma, the Director General of the Nigerian Law School for his giant strides and uncommon landmarks in the history of the School by encouraging candidates to soar higher and surpass the existing achievements.
Further more, Hassan commended the screening committee of the distinguished Body of Benchers for the rigorous efforts towards perusal of the records of each aspirant and successfully found 4,458 candidates worthy of the prestige of being fit and proper to be presented for the call to the Nigerian bar.
Mr. Hassan appreciated His Lordship, Honourable Justice Idris Tanko Muhammad, Chairman, Body of Benchers and Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) for this great feat achieved under His Lordship’s watch.
In his words of encouragement to the new wigs Oladotun Hassan said,
“I urge our newly called learned colleagues to exhibit high level of professional ethics, discipline and etiquette by preserving the spartan glory, honour and dignity of the profession at all times.
I” implore you all to stand on the side of justice, do all you can within the ambit of the law to ensure that justice is served to all persons or clients irrespective of religious, ethnicity and ideological beliefs.
“I urge you all to go a step further by acquiring necessary skills and training, while ensuring you under go the legal pupillage before setting up your private firms. For there is NO quick fix to success”
