Past Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ede Asenoguan congratulates the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) Edo State Chapter on Its just-concluded Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the election of new executive committee members.
“It is with great delight that i congratulate the Iryn Omorogiuwa led Fida executive for hosting a very successful 2021 Annual General meeting(AGM) which culminated in the emergence of a new executive ably led by the amiable Violet Olumese. I congratulate Iryn Omorogiuwa for steering the affairs of FIDA Edo very successfully in the past 3 years. Her tenure was both impactful and eventful. She consolidated on the efforts and achievements of her predecessors in office amongst whom are Stella Ojemen and Marie Edeko. I thank God for the grace, strength and wisdom granted you to successfully conclude your tenure and to hand the baton to your successor who I believe will also consolidate on the successes with which FIDA Edo has become known,” Asenoguan said.
He further stated that “To the newly elected executive, I implore you to see your election as God’s wish and to cooperate with your chairperson and each other in other that together you can move FIDA Edo to greater heights. I am sure that with the solid foundation that has been laid by successive leadership you will find it easy to build upon those gains knowing that they are and will always be available to provide the needed guidance and information to guide you through challenging times.
Once again I wish Mrs Violet Olumese God’s wisdom, strength and good health to pilot the affairs of FIDA Edo to greater heights. Be assured that we will continue to provide our support to FIDA whenever the need arises. We remain committed to the ideals and vision of FIDA and we will continue to push same in whatever position we find ourselves. God bless you all, and God bless FIDA.”
