The Lagos branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) yesterday, 14th February, 2022 held its second monthly meeting for the year 2022. The meeting which took place at the main auditorium of Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus was more or less a Love Fest. The atmosphere was filled with so much glee, one could have easily mistaken it for a valentine program.
Mr Ede in his congratulatory message described the event better as follows:
“The Chairman, Executive and branch members of the NBA, Lagos branch,
It is with much delight that I convey this congratulatory message to you on the successful conduct of your second monthly meeting for 2022.
Going by my experience yesterday, I am tempted to term the meeting a Love Fest with a touch of scholarliness; going by the power packed paper delivered by Mrs Temitope Hassan, FCIS and the overwhelming display of love that enveloped the meeting from start to finish.
Your branch sure knows how to put up a good show. You sure did live up to your Monika; the premier bar. I must confess that yesterday’s meeting couldn’t have been better. I commend your efforts.
It is my sincere prayer that you continue to advance as a branch for the betterment of the profession at large.

The President of the NBA, Olumide Akpata graced the meeting in grand style sharing roses to ladies having previously sent in a valentine cake.
After the meeting, was a cocktail which afforded members and participants alike the opportunity to further unwind.
