Mr. Dawud Adamu Sulayman is a Senior Partner & Team Lead of Solid Foundation Chambers, a corporate and commercial law firm with branches in Abuja and Ogbomosho, Nigeria.
He started his early education, both Primary and Secondary, at the Nurudeen Primary and Grammar School, Ogbomosho. He attended the College of Arts & Legal Studies, Minna and the Zungeru Colege of Advanced Studies. He graduated from Bayero University, Kano in 1997 and the Nigerian law school in 1999 and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar the same year. He obtained his LLM degree in common law in 2014 at the University of Illorin and has a PhD in view at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association; and Fellow, Chartered Institute of Environmental and Public Health Management.
Mr. D.A. Sulayman has been in active and full time legal practice since his call to the Nigerian bar, His area of academic specialization is in the field of Common Law, with particular interest in the law relating to Governance. This is shown in the various positions he has occupied both in public service and private practice.
In 2005, he became a Senior Partner of Solid Foundation Chambers, a broad based corporate and commercial law practice firm with offices in Ogbomosho; Minna and Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. The firm has varied expertise in all aspects of corporate and commercial law, including related litigation.
He is a committed member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
In addition to the above, he has been appointed, in advisory capacity, to several public office and parastatal, among which are his appointment as the National Executive Council Representative, Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch June 2018- June 2020; Oyo State Justice of Peace August 2017; Chairman Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch 2016-2018; Special Assistant to Oyo State Governor on Legal Matters Jan. 2015-May. 2015; Part-time Commissioner, Oyo State Civil Service Commission 2012-2015; Pioneer Secretary Nigerian Bar Association, Gwagwalada Branch 2012-2014; Member National Executive Committee, Nigerian Bar Association 2012-2014; Nigerian Bar Association Representative, Industry Consumer Advisory Forum of Nigerian Communication Commission 2012-2015; Legal Adviser, Imam Malik Academy, Gwagwalada, Abuja 2003-2010; Secretary, Gwagwalada Lawyers’ Forum 2003-2008; Member Law Report Publication Committee, Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch.

His hobbies are playing football, travelling, reading and watching documentaries.
