The Trademark Opposition Advocacy Certification is designed for IP lawyers, Trademark Agents and Trademark Owners to acquire practical advocacy skills in Opposition proceedings.
The Course covers every aspect of Opposition Proceedings from commencement, interlocutory applications, final submissions to appeals.
Trademark Opposition is a suis generis proceeding, commenced pursuant to Section 20 of the Trademarks Act, under which a 3rd Party files an objection to the registration of a Trademark within 2 months of advertisement in the Trademarks Journal.
The Trademarks Tribunal sits at the Trademarks Registry.
The 2-day course will cover every aspect of Trademark Opposition and practical sessions, case studies and strategies for expediting opposition proceedings.
