Candidate for National Treasurer of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Safiya Balarabe commemorated the June 12 Democracy Day with a message of hope and faith.

“I am pleased to wish my fellow Nigerians a happy Democracy Day celebration. I am not unaware of the myriad of man-made challenges our democracy is beleaguered with, I am however a proponent of hope and an unapologetic optimist.
To this end, I enjoin Nigerians to look beyond our present woes and behold the light at the end of the tunnel; for in the near future, we shall proudly speak of Nigeria as a place where the core values of democracy thrives.
We should keep faith alive! Happy Democracy Day to you all”
