Sultan Bello Mosque Kaduna has set up a committee entrusted with the function of providing support and relevant services to victims of abuse.
The Sultan Bello Mosque Committee for the protection of Victims of Abuse Foundation will entertain and investigate complaint made to it by victims of sexual harassment, domestic violence and other abuses in any organisation, school or institution.
According to Dr. Ahmed Gumi, scholar and social commentator—the committee’s work is in collaborative effort with a team of lawyers.

The committee aims to ensure that victims have the confidence to come forward and report their experiences, safe in the knowledge that there are relaible people who will do everything they can to both support them and pursue their abuser.
